I went to my usual spot in Linden, NJ.... TQ Nails. The nails salon is clean, big, bright, and relatively new. The staff are really nice and personable and you really get to know them. Most importantly they prices aren't that bad either for both of these designs I paid under $30, that is including a fill in, the design, and gel on top. So as far as I am concerned that's a good deal.

21st B-Day Nails. I got my nails this color to match my new burgundy ombre hair and it matched perfectly. Plus my birthday outfit consisted of burgundy shoes and a leopard bodysuit insert. Which I will post all the details in Sophisticated Sagittarius Shopping. But back to my nails I love how they came, definitely my favorite design by far!

NYE 13 NAILS. I didn't really have an inspiration or outfit to base my New Years Eve design off of. So i just told the manicurist what colors I wanted and told him to do whatever. I like how it came and it served its purpose. Now I'm trying to figure out now what next week will look, but until then stay tuned.

For those of you that have read my post titled “Trendy Oval Nails with a Twist ” you should know that my last experience at the nail salon was less than satisfactory and I will never ever go back there again. But in better news I have found a new place for my nails to call home, TQ Nails located at 1601 W. Edgar Road in Linden NJ (in the same shopping strip as Walmart). This was not my first time going to TQ Nails, I went there about a year ago and had a good experience, but I eventually ended up taking my nails off and did not feel the need to waste my money on the weekly manicure.

Fast forward to now and I’ve been to TQ Nails twice, and I am overdue for my next appointment.

The first time, which was during RUTGERS HOMECOMING WEEK, I had them do a very crazy fun design with scarlet red, white and black (with a little bit of gold “MY SIGNATURE COLOR”) and I made them a bit more pointy  …Pictures below; I thought I’d try something different, don’t judge me :)

The second was this pass Friday, October 5th my crazy design ended up coming off early because I had a meeting to go to, but I ended up loving what I got. I have always wanted to try a nice nude plain nail, and that's just want I got. A nice mauve pink! Pictures below; super cute / super trendy! This will probably be my NEW SIGNATURE COLOR!
